In graphic design, video is a new form of composition that brings a bunch of new stars to the artistic fold. I hope to make a name for myself with the work I produce in this medium by applying print sensibilities to motion. The rules between print and motion are distinct and different, but are not hard to combine, and thus, I try to apply the best of both worlds to whatever project I take on.
In the realm of editing and manipulating video with effects, I strive to make my footprints minimal. In other words, I never want the audience to know I've effected the video in any way. I try to conceal any trace of edits or effects and try to smoothly transition one scene to another and keep the viewer's attention on the video and not on the process behind it. I may leave clues to how something had been done, but it is the way your traces are hidden that are most appreciated by an audience.
